This Spring, Eastern Riverina Arts presents the Creative Industries Bootcamp, a five-day, high-impact professional development experience designed to sharpen your thinking, reignite your practice, and set you up for sustainable success in the creative sector.

Across six unique sessions, you’ll explore creative confidence, audience engagement, grant writing, collaboration, and cultural tourism with top-tier facilitators, real-world strategies, and plenty of laughs along the way.

Whether you’re an independent artist, a regional mover-and-shaker, or part of a community or cultural organisation, this bootcamp delivers serious value in an inspiring, energising format.

DAY 1: Your Creative Reset

DAY 2: Strategic Thinking – The Why

DAY 3: Project Design – The How

Turn your pitch into a plan, and your plan into funding.
Say goodbye to clunky grant applications and hello to clarity, confidence, and compelling proposals. In this hands-on session, you'll learn how to design intelligent, scalable creative projects that meet real needs, and attract real investment. Bring your big idea and walk out with a roadmap.

DAY 4: Creative Industries Panel – Wearing Many Hats

Wednesday 17th September | 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Honest talk, big ideas, and real stories from the creative frontlines.
This evening panel is all about the power of being a multi-hyphenate creative. Hear from Claire Harris, Vanessa Keenan, Vickie Burkinshaw and Chris Roe, artists, leaders, and community shapers who’ve worn every hat under the sun, and lived to tell the tale. Think raw insight, career pivots, creative resilience, and a drink in hand. Public welcome.

DAY 5: Cultural Tourism

Thursday 18th September | 9:30am – 4:30pm

Creativity meets place-based impact.
Regional creatives are sitting on a cultural tourism goldmine, but how do we unlock it? This workshop explores how artists, councils, and organisations can collaborate to create meaningful, market-ready experiences. Come ready to workshop ideas, refine your offer, and shape the future of cultural tourism in our region.

WRAP-UP: Business After Hours with Wagga Wagga Business Chamber

Thursday 18th September | 5:30pm – 7:30pm

Ideas, inspiration, and informal networking.
Close out the Bootcamp with a relaxed evening of drinks and conversation at the Station Creative Workspace. Meet local business leaders, share your creative pitch, and reflect on what you’ve learned. Hosted in partnership with Wagga Wagga Business Chamber.
