Maker to Market

Calling all young people aged 13-18! If you have a creative idea, small business or side hustle this program is for you.

Learn all about the basics of running a small creative business and put your skills into practice with a pop-up stall at our youth makers market in December.

About

Maker to Market is a FREE program for young creatives aged 13–18 to learn and develop basic small business skills to support their creative side hustle.

Three workshops are offered as part of the program, each focusing on a different aspect of having a creative small business.

Participants will then put the skills they learn into practice to develop their very own pop-up stall at a youth makers market on Saturday 12th December 2026, just in time for the Christmas shopping!

Examples of creative businesses could include: Face-painting, performance (eg. roaming performance or music), sweet treats, handmade or upcycled clothing/accessories, artworks on canvas or paper (including digital art), pottery, textile work, photography, zines or stickers.

  • Cost: FREE

  • Strictly ages 13-18 only
