Cultural Tourism Content Boost
5 Ways Studio & Gallery, Tumut, NSW.
Capturing over 20 cultural attractions across eight local government areas, the project showcases the depth of arts and culture in the Riverina.
The Riverina is full of incredible cultural gems- galleries, studios, museums, and creative spaces- but many of them don’t get the spotlight they deserve. To help change that, Eastern Riverina Arts invested $30,000 in 2024 to launch the Cultural Tourism Content Boost project, designed to amplify the arts and cultural experiences that make our region so unique.
Over several months, the project travelled across Bland, Coolamon, Cootamundra-Gundagai, Lockhart, Junee, Snowy Valleys, Temora, and Wagga Wagga, capturing more than 20 standout cultural attractions and experiences. The result? A vibrant collection of new photos, videos, and stories that showcase the heart of creativity in our communities.
The Cultural Tourism Boost Project, an Eastern Riverina Arts initiative is proudly funded by Create NSW.
These new materials will soon appear across social media, tourism campaigns, regional trails, ATDW listings and more- shared by local operators, councils, Destination Riverina Murray, Destination NSW, and Eastern Riverina Arts. The goal is simple: boost visibility, increase visitation, and help more people discover what makes the Riverina’s cultural landscape so special.
