The Station Launch Weekend
Wagga Wagga • 16–18 May 2025
Celebrate the official launch of The Station — a bold new hub for regional creativity — with a weekend of exhibitions, performances, studio tours, and community connection.
More Than a Building.
A Blueprint for Regional Creativity.
The Station Creative Workspace is a game-changing cultural and economic initiative, transforming Wagga Wagga’s historic Ambulance Station into a thriving centre for creativity, connection and collaboration.
Developed by Eastern Riverina Arts, The Station is home to a growing community of artists, entrepreneurs, and creative businesses and offers what regional creatives have long needed: access to infrastructure, visibility, networks, and support — all without needing to relocate to a major city.
It’s more than just coworking. It’s a living, breathing hub that supports sustainable careers in the arts, fosters innovation, and builds a stronger cultural economy for the Riverina.
Since opening in 2023, The Station has hosted:
10+ exhibitions
30+ community and industry events
200+ workspace bookings
3,000+ visitors
And now, it’s your turn to step inside!
Join the Celebration — 16–18 May 2025
Whether you’re an artist, a supporter, a local business, or simply curious, the launch of The Station is your invitation to experience creativity in action.
Come connect with the people and ideas shaping Wagga’s cultural future — and be part of a creative movement with national potential.

Inside The Station – Meet the Creatives
More than a space…The Station is a community. Since opening its doors, it’s welcomed a diverse collective of artists, designers, musicians, writers, and entrepreneurs. Each one brings their own story, energy and perspective to the creative ecosystem we’re building in Wagga.
Here’s a glimpse into the lives and work of some of our Station tenants and collaborators:
From Isolation to Inspiration: Why Spaces Like The Station Matter
Creative careers shouldn’t be limited by geography. The Station is proof that when you provide the right environment – with access, mentorship, and community – artists and innovators will thrive in regional Australia.
Backed by Eastern Riverina Arts, The Station offers a new model:
· Affordable studios and shared workspace
· Exhibition and event spaces
· Industry networks and collaboration opportunities
· Creative programming and mentorship
· A place to belong
It’s a hub designed to connect talent with opportunity, audience, and community.
“By providing access to affordable studios, exhibition and event spaces, industry networks and peer support, The Station is giving local creatives the tools to build lasting careers in a regional area.”
The Station is not just about today — it’s about shaping a future where regional creativity is seen, celebrated, and sustained.
