| From Wagga to Westmead: Rach Viski was commissioned by Health Infrastructure on behalf of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and spent the past two years working from her studio at The Station |

| Riverina artist Rach Viski was principal artist for the envirographics program at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead’s new Wattle Building, illustrating original artwork co-created with children whose drawings, textures and markings are woven through 5,000 square metres of clinical spaces.
“This is a proud moment for us. Rach chose to build her practice here in Wagga, and is now seeing her work installed across one of the most significant children’s hospitals in the country, all delivered from a studio at The Station. It’s a powerful reminder that ambitious, nationally significant art can absolutely be made in the regions, by artists who are deeply rooted in their place.” Ashleigh Baxter, Executive Director, Eastern Riverina Arts.

There is a new chapter for art in Wagga Wagga… Vickie Burkinshaw joins us to discuss the development of The Curious Curation — Art on Docker Street. The Docker Street Gallery has been in hiatus for a number of years. Now, Vickie Burkinshaw, former owner of The Curious Rabbit, and Karen Colvin, owner of Wagga Picture Frames, have joined forces to reinvigorate the space and bring it back to life.

Gregory Carosi combines painting and sculpture in new and unexpected ways, the thematic for his residency and exhibition centres around time running out, and how the quiet moments of the day and night might just be what sustains us most. Midnight at the Ambo Gallery will be Carosi’s final exhibition in Wagga Wagga before he and his family’s upcoming move to Canberra.
